Mr. Francisco Delissalde, sculptor, whose artwork has been recognized both in Europe and America, has been sposored by Mr. Ramón Amilibia, Director of STSHC and IPWM, and on behalf of these companies made a contribution to support this project. His early formal training in sculpting and painting followed by his graduate studies in the fields of chemistry, theology and philosophy, show him as an artist genuinely and relentlessly engaged in the human quest for beauty. In his works, Delissalde transmits both his intensity of feeling as well as a profound and sensible reflection on the message of the subject depicted.
Delissalde currently specializes in sculpture in bronze —portraiture and the human figure— works that transmit an intense and deep sense of consolation, sentiments deeply felt by the artist about his subject
